Introduction

A small town about 34 kilo meter Multan has been historically identified by a shop called Musan Hatti . which located on Multan Dera Ghazi road . The Musan Hatti was named Muzaffargarh after appointment of Muzzaffar Khan as governor of Multan in 1794.

Location

The district lies between 28° 57' to 30° 46' north latitudes and 70° 30' to 71° 47' east longitudes.

Boundary

The district have a triangular block of land situated north and south between the indus and chenab rivers, the chenab here riverberates with a river dissonent of five rivers of the punjab.

Area

The total area of the district is 2,228,947 in acres.
