Introduction
The name of the district is derived from its Headquarters town Mirpurkhas which was part of the former Tharparker district.
Location
The district lies between 24° 46' to 25 ° 44' north latitudes and 68° 54' to 69 ° 30' east longitudes.
Boundary
It is bounded on the north by Sanghar district, on the west by Hyderabad district, on the south by Badin and Tharparker District and on the east by Umerkot and Sanghar districts.
Area
The total area of the district is 2925 square kilometers.
