Khalid Mahmood

Senior District Coordinator

Introduction

Mr. Khalid Mahmood has done his Masters in Political Science and Punjabi from University of Punjab. He worked on different positions in development sector. He was also performed his duties as a Naib Nazim, Union Council. He attended various trainings and workshops on Capacity Building and Rural Development. Presently working as a Senior District Coordinator in Devolution Trust for Community Empowerment (DTCE).

Sajjad Qasim

Senior District Coordinator

Introduction

Mr. Sajjad Qasim has Masters in Political science from University of Punjab. He worked on various positions with different development organizations. Currently working in DTCE as Senior District Coordinator. His responsibility is to empower the local Urban & Rural communities Socially Economically & Politically through(Devolution Plan) Social Mobilization, CCBs Registration, Local Council Monitoring, Police Community Relation, CCB Network, Local Citizen information Network, Village & Neighborhood Councils , Press & Bar Association, and Provision of Development through importing trainings, so that the communities can optimally utilize the Tehsil, District Govt, Union Council’s CCB funds and indigenous natural & Human Resources which lead towards sustainable development and can become self administered reliant and self sustainable.

Hafiz Muhammad Mumtaz

Senior District Coordinator

Introduction

Mr. Hafiz Muhammad Mumtaz holds a MSC (Hons) Degree in Agriculture Entomology from University of Agriculture Faisalabad and Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management from Skill Development Council of Pakistan. He has professional experience of more than 18 years in the Development & Agriculture Sectors. He has vast experience of managing projects from the requirements gathering/ needs identification phase through to completion. He has exceptional writing, presenting and interpersonal communication skill. Presently he is serving in Devolution Trust for Community Empowerment as a Senior District Coordinator. He is managing the Flood Affected Community Engagement for Recovery (FACER) project funded by UNDP in District Rahim Yar Khan & Rajan Pur on behalf of DTCE.

Miss Sajida Nawaz

Senior District Coordinator

Introduction

Sajida Nawaz is working with in development sector from early 2000, throughout worked UNDP & Galloup International. She has strong experience of Trainings and working in similar fields of Mobilization with innovative work style, and strong interpersonal communication. Her educational back ground highlights include M. A. Sociology from Punjab University , Lahore.

Abdul Rasheed

Senior District Coordinator

Introduction

Mr. Abdul Rasheed Khan done his Bachelors in commerce and Masters in Political Science from Islamia University, Bahawalpur. He has more than 17 years experience on various positions in different development organizations in Pakistan. Currently he is working as Senior District Coordinator in DTCE. He is working on Undertaking awareness campaigns with line departments Districts of Provinces KPK, Sindh, Punjab, and Balochistan, Informing Community and Local Government Relations Directorate of all actions in order to maintain an overview, Involve in contracting ground assessment, promotion of community organization, participation, and capacity building through CCBs at the union level in a given jurisdiction, Authorize the disbursement of DTCE funds upon confirmation of compliance with contractual terms by local contractors, Train local leaders and activists in the basics of organizing and mobilizing communities and introducing the concept of Citizens Community Boards.

Sher Azam

Senior District Coordinator

Introduction

Mr. Sher Azam completed his Bachelors in Arts (Honors) Masters in social work from Karachi University. He worked in development sector on various positions more than 12 years in different development organizations in the field of community development, mobilization, project designing, Implementation, monitoring, evaluation, rights-based advocacy and awareness. It’s executing areas as partner Districts, Tehsils, Unions councils in Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtoon khawa and Balochistan provinces including Gilgit-Baltistan. Currently working as Senior District Coordinator in DTCE on monitoring project of DTCE’s “Gender Equity Programme” for seven Districts of Balochistan and Gilgit.

Asma Ejaz

District Coordinator

Message

Ms. Asma Ejaz done her Masters in Political Sciences from Bahuddin Zakria University, Multan and Master in Gender and Women Studies from Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad. She has been working in development sector from the last 12 years. Presently she is working as District Coordinator in DTCE on a project which have been implementing activities for community empowerment model in partner Districts of DTCE. While working in DTCE as Master Trainer, she engaged in development of various training manuals, handbooks, guides, different, broachers and different training quality monitoring tools. she coordinated and organized capacity building training activities for community leaders, elected members, Government representatives and staff of the partner organizations in 81 DTCE operational districts across Pakistan

Naushaba Hassan Barijo

District Coordinator

Introduction

Ms. Naushaba Hassan Barijo is currently working as District Coordinator with DTCE. She had 15 years experience on various positions in National and International development organizations including with Government Agencies. She has been working for community trainings on Disaster response, Grants to Citizens, Community Boards, reissuance of lost documents, networking between community and district government and civil society engagement in disaster response for early recovery. She has also been working closely with the District Government and has good networking with civil society organizations across Sindh. She has organized and conducted countless trainings, workshops, Education festivals, Seminars and Conferences.

Imran Nazir

District Coordinator

Introduction

Mr. Muhammad Imran Nazir is a dedicated and enthusiastic professional with over 11 years experience in development / NGO sector. Highly skilled at relationship building with all stakeholders, across organizations and teams; exceptional writing, presenting, and interpersonal communication skill. He is serving in Devolution Trust for Community Empowerment as a District Coordinator since from September, 2011. He is managing the Flood Affected Community Engagement for Recovery (FACER) project funded by UNDP in four districts i.e. Layyah, DG Khan, Mianwali & Bhakkar on behalf of DTCE. He has worked as a Field Officer in UNDP’s project “Support to DTCE” from May 2006 to August 2011. During that tenure, he served in different districts of Pakistan as assigned by the management.

Zulfiqar Ahmed

District Coordinator

Introduction

Mr. Zulfiqar Ahmed completed his Bachelors in Engineering and Masters in Political Science from Karachi University. He has working experience of 12 years on various positions in different development organizations in Pakistan. Presently he is working as District Coordinator in the Devolution Trust for Community Empowerment (DTCE), a consortium of donors, managed by United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Pakistan.

Najm-ud-Din-Sheikh

District Coordinator

Introduction

Mr. Najm-ud-Din-Sheikh did Masters in English and LLB from University of Balochistan, Quetta. He also did MBA with major of HR Management from Newport Institute of Communication & Economics, Karachi. He completed Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) course from Skill Development Council (SDC), Islamabad, Three weeks diploma course on “Community Based Social Development” from Agha Khan University, Karachi and one week course on “Accounting for non Accountants” from THAMAS Business School, Islamabad including attended various short certificate extensive trainings /workshops on different social development skills. He has 12 years working experience in development sector. Currently working in DTCE as District Coordinator, mainly working in mobilization and organization of communities for participating in local development projects (FACER, ICED).

Malik Ahmed Abdullah Awan

District Coordinator

Introduction

Malik Ahmed Abdullah Awan done his Masters Degree in Public Administration from Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan, Pakistan. He has been working experience of 12 years with reputable National and International development organizations. He worked as the Field Officer in United Nations Development Programme (Support to DTCE) and also managed field teams as Field Unit Incharge in Punjab Rural Support Programme (PRSP). Currently working as District Coordinator in DTCE and implementing an early recovery project after 2010 flood, by the name Flood Affected Communities Engagement for Recovery (FACER) in Shikarpur and Ghotki districts of Sindh.

Abbas Ahmad Sahibzada

District Coordinator

Introduction

Mr. Abbas Ahmad Sahibzada holds a Bachelors’ degree in Law. Mr. Sahibzada has worked in different national organizations on various positions and holds more than 10 years of experience to his credit. He has worked in the field of social mobilization, capacity building, police community relations etc. He has worked in the provinces of Punjab, KPK and FATA. He has the ability to implement any project on the principles of community participation. He is a person who can work in challenging and tough conditions.

Ghulam Mustafa Sangrasi

District Coordinator

Introduction

Mr. Ghulam Mustafa Sangrasi have a vast experience in development sector. He developed various training manuals and information guides in Urdu as well as Sindhi on the community empowerment model. He also developing material and conducting training events on various subjects such as education, literacy, community empowerment, Citizen community board Mobilization and project management, Village and neighbor hood councils, and CCB networks. He provided technical services to Institute for educational development-AKF, Teachers resource Centre Karachi and Agha Khan Foundation. Presently he is working as District Coordinator in DTCE and working on project in different areas of Sindh
